Ms. Lazo has been heard in several theaters and concert halls in The United States of America (Alice Tully Hall and Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall), Italy (The Puccini Festival, Teatro Verdi di Busseto, Teatro Nuovo di Udine, Paganini Auditorium, Teatro Magnani di Fidenza, and Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Nuovo di Udine), Germany (Staatsoper under den Linden, Berlin. Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg) and Austria (Ronacher Theater), Guatemala (National Theater), Costa Rica (Melico Salazar), Panama (Anayanci), In China: National Centre for the Performing Arts NCPA, Century Theater (Beijing), Qintai Concert Hall (WuHan), Sience and Cultural Art Center (Suzhou), Jiansu Centre for the Performing Arts JCPA (Nanjing), Bulgaria (National Radio Hall, Studio 1 in Sofia, and Varna Opera House).

Her operatic appearances include the main roles of  Tosca, Suor Angelica, Ballo in Maschera (Amelia), Forza del destino (Leonora di Vargas) Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Giorgetta (Il Tabarro), Mimì (La Bohème), Liú (Turandot), Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana)  She is also the first western soprano singing a leading role in a chinese opera in mandarin, “170 days in Nanjing, The diaries of John Rabe” an opera of Jianping Tang,  playing the role of Minnie Vautrin.

Ms. Lazo participates in the official events for the 150th birthday of Arturo Toscanini, The events organizerd for Renata Tebaldi's 100 years of birth (Tebaldi100), She also collaborates with “The Pavarotti Foundation” and she participates in several concerts, recitals and events for “Festival Verdi” collaborating  also with “Teatro Regio di Parma” in the project "Imparolopera" singing scenes of Ballo in Maschera (Amelia), Nabucco (Abigaille) and Macbeth (Lady Macbeth).

 

Winner of the 2nd. prize in the first edition of "Marmo all'opera" competition in Carrara, Italy the 3rd. Prize on the XXXIII edition of the “Ismaele Voltolini” competition, in Mantova, Italy and the OperaNova prize on the Bologna International Voice Competition. Also, She has been finalist in several international competitions: “Gianluca Ricci”, “Città di Bologna”, “Bellano città degli Artisti”. Ms. Lazo was awarded for her “Historical Execution of Italian Opera” by the "Dante Alighieri Society", The “Artist of the year” award from the "Vicenta Laparra de la Cerda cultural association".

Spanish - Guatemalan soprano currently based in Parma, Italy. Ms. Lazo began her studies at a young age in Guatemala City. She later moved to Italy to be part of the Puccini Festival young artist program. She was part of the Italian Opera School "Fiorenza Cedolins", she had studied at the “Arrigo Boito” Conservatory in Parma, Italy with the bel canto soprano Lucetta Bizzi, a She has participated in masterclasses and worked privately with Rolando Panerai, Rockwell Blake, Antonello Allemandi, Katia Riacciarelli, Raina Kabaivanska, Giovanna Casolla and Aprile Millo.
